Gösta Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Åke Norberg in the 9th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Fred Ivarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Ove Helström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Einar Andersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Birger Bergstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gösta Ivarsson having to interfere. Fred Ivarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Helström having to interfere. A collision led to Anderstorp FK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Vidar Berg hit a great ball. Allan Västerstrand was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Karl-Åke Norberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Anderstorp FK's Gösta Ivarsson. Gösta Ivarsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fred Ivarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jan-Ove Helström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Einar Andersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Anderstorp FK booed when Gråbo IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rune Gunnarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Karl-Åke Norberg made the kick off in the second half. Fred Ivarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Åke Norberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anderstorp FK's Einar Andersson got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute Fred Ivarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Ove Helström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes Gråbo IF got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Åke Norberg. When Ove Henriksson fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anderstorp FK's protests and gave Ove Henriksson a yellow card for diving instead. Ove Henriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 78th match minute, Gråbo IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Jansson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 79 minutes, Vidar Berg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anderstorp FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vidar Berg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rune Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gråbo IF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
