With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manfred Carlsson in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claes Pååk saved Kilafors from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Kilafors's Isac Eskilsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ingmar Tholsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kilafors's Claes Pååk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Hegg in the 23rd minute of play. Karl-Johan Albom kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Olof Lundström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilafors's supporters rose to their feet, but Olof Lundström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingmar Tholsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claes Pååk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Smefeldt in the 47th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Olof Lundström made the kick off in the second half. Karl-Johan Albom hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Ingmar Tholsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Lundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Tommy Smefeldt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Claes Pååk. That made the score 0-1 in the 61 minute of play. When Olov Olsson fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kilafors's protests and gave Olov Olsson a yellow card for diving instead. 66 minutes into the game, one of Kilafors:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Manfred Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 82 minutes, Tommy Smefeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Smefeldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Evert Ahlrot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Smefeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Claes Pååk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kilafors getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Markus Öberg hit a great ball. When the match was over JFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kilafors throughout the match.
