After having played for 5 minutes, Oskar Lundgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Örebrotravets SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oskar Lundgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Almkvist got free with Bertil Nordal in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, Wilhelm Åström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bertil Nordal, 1-0. In the 14th minute, Henrik Gallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Örebrotravets SK's Victor Almkvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Almkvist got free with Bertil Nordal in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oskar Lundgren kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Örebrotravets SK's Oskar Lundgren got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henrik Gallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morgan Ahlroth having to interfere. Morgan Ahlroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Lund in the 30th minute of play. After 36 minutes, Alvin Lindblom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Örebrotravets SK and the Friends players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alvin Lindblom hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After 37 played minutes, Friends's Emil Stenberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Morgan Ahlroth came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Friends reached it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After a rather tough play, Örebrotravets SK's Orvar Boberg got a free kick in the 60th minute. Morgan Ahlroth acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 61st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emil Stenberg. A collision led to Örebrotravets SK getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Edvin Axelsson hit a great ball. Edward Lundström hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Morgan Ahlroth was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Johan Lund capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Johan Lund really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Christer Gunnarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Bertil Nordal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Åström in the 86th minute of play. Gilbert Tingberg charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilbert Tingberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gilbert Tingberg hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Örebrotravets SK's Erland Deckberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Erland Deckberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Örebrotravets SK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Erland Deckberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Örebrotravets SK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
