Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Säffle IF's Mikael Colin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Mikael Colin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carl Stabbe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Thor Ros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Säffle IF's Jens Berggren got a free kick in the 26th minute. Ted Hellkvist missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 28 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Marcus Bolander right hand side. 29 minutes into the match, Munsö IK's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Colin came free, but Thor Ros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thor Ros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Colin in the 40th minute of play. Carl Stabbe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thor Ros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Munsö IK's Thor Ros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Stabbe in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Mattias Hult made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Mikael Colin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Munsö IK's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Colin came free, but Thor Ros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikael Colin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Thor Ros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rdth minute of the game Bengt-Åke Åberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Säffle IF's Marcus Bolander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcus Bolander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Hult, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Carl Stabbe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bengt-Åke Åberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Marcus Bolander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mattias Hult had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
