Spectators: 7384 (Terracing: 5539, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bertil Pil started the match with the kick off. Yngve Vassenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Nordkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bertil Pil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bertil Pil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulf Lindström during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kyrkhult RK's Ulf Lindström got a free kick in the 13th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Malmen FC's Sven-Edvin Hedlund broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Marcus Ahlbeck came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Malmen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Ahlbeck couldn't finish the play. Yngve Vassenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Ahlbeck in the 34th minute of play. Bertil Pil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Yngve Vassenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yngve Vassenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Ahlbeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Olof Carlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Käcker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes Kyrkhult RK got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Lindström. Marcus Ahlbeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Yngve Vassenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Edvin Hedlund during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The goalkeeper, Olof Carlsson, was totally fooled by Kyrkhult RK's Kevin Biörkman, who 46 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

Kyrkhult RK's Hannes Kjellman got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bertil Pil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 58 minutes into the match, Kyrkhult RK's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Pil came free, but Yngve Vassenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Edwin Björnberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kyrkhult RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malmen FC the free kick. Edwin Björnberg hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Bertil Pil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Yngve Vassenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kyrkhult RK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Edwin Björnberg hit a great ball. With a little luck, Kyrkhult RK's Yngve Vassenius got control of the ball when Marcus Ahlbeck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ian Käcker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olof Carlsson having to interfere. Bertil Pil struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Yngve Vassenius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malmen FC. If Bertil Pil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Pil in the 81st minute of play forced Kyrkhult RK's goalkeeper Yngve Vassenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Hannes Kjellman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kyrkhult RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hannes Kjellman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulf Lindström might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olof Carlsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulf Lindström ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute Bertil Pil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngve Vassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kyrkhult RK's Ulf Lindström suffered a concussion in the 93rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 93 minutes into the game, Albin Kalfhage was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malmen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kyrkhult RK the free kick. A collision led to Malmen FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Albin Kalfhage hit a great ball. Kyrkhult RK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Malmen FC for a fine match.
