Spectators: 6669 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 0) Lövhögen IF's Ralf Brenner started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Erserman in the 7th minute of play forced Lövhögen IF's goalkeeper Karl Hake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ralf Erserman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl Hake was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After 19 played minutes Lövhögen IF got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Willig. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Thor Sundin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grödinge IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Thor Sundin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl Hake breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the game, Leonard Willig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lövhögen IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grödinge IFK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lövhögen IF's Leonard Willig got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Ralf Erserman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Lövhögen IF's goal looked a bit too open when Thor Sundin came free, but Karl Hake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thor Sundin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Hake having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Lövhögen IF's Ralf Brenner slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aaron Vester. That made the score 1-1 after 43 minutes of play. Ivan Öbergs short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Aaron Vester to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ralf Erserman made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ralf Erserman got free with Karl Hake in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karl Hake came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Grödinge IFK's Thor Sundin. But to his dismay, Thor Sundin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Lövhögen IF's Karl Hake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Erserman in the 60th minute of play. When Bertil Beck fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lövhögen IF's protests and gave Bertil Beck a yellow card for diving instead. Bertil Beck hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Ralf Brenner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ralf Erserman struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Karl Hake didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grödinge IFK. Grödinge IFK's Aaron Vester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Brenner in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to Lövhögen IF getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Fabian Nässén hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Lövhögen IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Erserman came free, but Karl Hake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tony Nordgren fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lövhögen IF's protests and gave Tony Nordgren a yellow card for diving instead. Tony Nordgren kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match Göran Gustafsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl Hake skillfully saved the ball. Thor Sundin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl Hake having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ralf Erserman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karl Hake. That made the score 1-3 in the 92 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Grödinge IFK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
