Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Staffan Pihlwall in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl Hake prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Simon Sikström's shot from long distance in the 37th minute was not bad at all, but Lövhögen IF's Karl Hake knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Staffan Pihlwall got free with Karl Hake in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Henning Christoffersson fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Celeste Lavíe's protests and gave Henning Christoffersson a yellow card for diving instead. Leonard Willig was shown his second yellow card after 43 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Celeste Lavíe booed when Lövhögen IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Willig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl Hake made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Malcolm Lundin sent off a good shot on target. Sven-Oskar Västberg hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Staffan Pihlwall made a kick off. Ivan Öberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. If Sven-Oskar Västberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 1-0 became the score in the 61st minute when Staffan Pihlwall elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ivan Öberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl Hake took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Staffan Pihlwall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Ralf Brenner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
