The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Vargön FF's Lennart Viklund in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bjuråker's goalie prevented a goal. Jörgen Arhenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Bjuråker defense, Lennart Viklund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jack Hydén. The Bjuråker fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jack Hydén should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Bjuråker:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vargön FF:s goal. The referee gave Vargön FF a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joel Lidberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bjuråker's Jack Hydén. 0-2. After some careless play in the Bjuråker defense, Jörgen Arhenius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jack Hydén. The Bjuråker fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jack Hydén should have stopped the shot. Jörgen Arhenius scored 0-4 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jack Hydén, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 26 minutes, Sven-Arne Lidström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vargön FF and the Bjuråker players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bjuråker booed when Vargön FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Arne Lidström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th match minute, Vargön FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Klementsson to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the game, Vargön FF's Jörgen Arhenius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jack Hydén made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Lennart Viklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Hydén having to interfere. Lennart Viklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 40 minutes, Jörgen Arhenius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vargön FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörgen Arhenius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Bjuråker's Magnus Henriksson got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Jörgen Arhenius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vargön FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörgen Arhenius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jack Hydén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lennart Viklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Hydén having to interfere. After the first half Vargön FF were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

65 minutes into the match, Bjuråker's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Arhenius came free, but Jack Hydén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bjuråker's Gustaf Wallengren got a free kick in the 68th minute. Jörgen Arhenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Hydén having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Sven-Arne Lidström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Bjuråker getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Per-Erik Jonasson hit a great ball. Lennart Viklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Jack Hydén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Bjuråker fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vargön FF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
