Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bengt Holm kicked off to start the match. Oskar Haegg struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Isaac Stephansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Klacksparkarna IF. Isaac Stephansson came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Klacksparkarna IF's Oskar Haegg. But to his dismay, Oskar Haegg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th match minute, Avesta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Vidman to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Christopher Abrahamsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Klacksparkarna IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, Avesta's Jens-Erik Forss got a free kick in the 24th minute. Bengt Holm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Nyström having to interfere. Jan Lövkvist hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt Holm in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ian Nyström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Klacksparkarna IF's Ian Nyström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Holm in the 38th minute of play. Sören Möllgren scored 2-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ian Nyström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Klacksparkarna IF were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Avesta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jan-Ove Gernberg took the corner. In the 59th minute, Jens-Erik Forss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 played minutes Avesta got a freekick which was hit by Gert Backlund. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sören Möllgren in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ian Nyström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ian Nyström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Holm in the 64th minute of play. Sören Möllgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ian Nyström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Möllgren in the 74th minute of play forced Klacksparkarna IF's goalkeeper Ian Nyström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sören Möllgren took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ian Nyström. Ian Nyström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. If Sören Möllgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Agne Giöck kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isaac Stephansson. That made the score 5-3 in the 92 minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Avesta had played much better football throughout.
