The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kennet Alrot during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Malmbäcks IF booed when Skånes Fagerhult was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kennet Alrot didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Skånes Fagerhult's goal looked a bit too open when Verner Melander came free, but Mark Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Kjell Stabbe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stig-Arne Johnsson was relentless in the 30th minute of the game.
