The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Gunnarsson got free with Wictor Fernkvist in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mark Magnusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thomas Gunnarsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Wictor Fernkvist made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexander Alebom kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wictor Fernkvist. That made the score 1-1 in the 29 minute of play. When Petter Wahlström fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Häradsbäck's protests and gave Petter Wahlström a yellow card for diving instead. Emanuel Fagerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Magnusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Thomas Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Långås IFK's Wictor Fernkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Långås IFK from getting a goal against them. Wictor Fernkvist made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Thomas Gunnarsson sent off a good shot on target. Alexander Alebom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wictor Fernkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Alexander Alebom made the kick off in the second half. Morgan Andreasson struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Emanuel Fagerberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Långås IFK. Alexander Alebom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Wictor Fernkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Torsten Dalgren during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wictor Fernkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 98th minute, Staffan Vennerström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 99th minute of the match Sven-Arne Torstensson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wictor Fernkvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Häradsbäck had played much better football throughout.
