Calcio Club Hammarbaj's Alfred Samuelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arvin Björling got free with Kurt Kihlman in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Calcio Club Hammarbaj's Kurt Kihlman got control of the ball when Arvin Björling tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Mårdaklev's Kurt Kihlman threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Peter Mickelsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Calcio Club Hammarbaj getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Valter Nordlander hit a great ball. Arvin Björling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Kurt Kihlman made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfred Samuelsson during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Calcio Club Hammarbaj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Samuelsson to maneuver through the defense. Kurt Kihlman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Mickelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Arvin Björling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Kihlman having to interfere. Kurt Kihlman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Mickelsson in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Calcio Club Hammarbaj's goalkeeper Kurt Kihlman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arvin Björling. Alfred Samuelsson took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osvald Zander. Osvald Zander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 45 minutes into the match, Calcio Club Hammarbaj's goalkeeper Kurt Kihlman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arvin Björling. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peter Mickelsson to make the kick off. Alfred Samuelsson struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Osvald Zander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calcio Club Hammarbaj. In the 56th minute, Calcio Club Hammarbaj's Johannes Kilstedt seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Johannes Kilstedt the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Calcio Club Hammarbaj protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Johannes Kilstedt had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Calcio Club Hammarbaj fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! When Arvin Björling came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Mårdaklev fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arvin Björling couldn't finish the play. Kurt Kihlman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvin Björling in the 67th minute of play. Kurt Kihlman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Mickelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Valter Nordlander fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calcio Club Hammarbaj's protests and gave Valter Nordlander a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Valter Nordlander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Calcio Club Hammarbaj's goal looked a bit too open when Arvin Björling came free, but Kurt Kihlman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Alfred Samuelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calcio Club Hammarbaj's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Samuelsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvald Zander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Mårdaklev booed when Calcio Club Hammarbaj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valter Nordlander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Mickelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
