The supporters of Arkelstorps IF booed when Hedesunda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Sikström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th match minute, Hedesunda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Stenkvist to maneuver through the defense. Mikael Lindmark didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Göran Löfdahl went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Mikael Lindmark came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Hedesunda's Göran Löfdahl. But to his dismay, Göran Löfdahl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Allan Lindqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allan Lindqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruud van Nistelrooij having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Jim Martinsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arkelstorps IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jim Martinsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruud van Nistelrooij breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Göran Löfdahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Mikael Lindmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Albert Sikström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hedesunda's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Sikström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikael Lindmark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mikael Lindmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Sikström, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arkelstorps IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Otto Sandell was slow to take the kick. During this time Hedesunda's players had a chance to rest. Hedesunda's Otto Sandell was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mikael Lindmark in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jim Martinsson got free with Ruud van Nistelrooij in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When Albert Sikström came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Hedesunda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Sikström couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Arkelstorps IF getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Henrik Gustafsson hit a great ball. Mikael Lindmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Sikström, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Göran Löfdahl notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Arkelstorps IF's Mikael Lindmark. Mikael Lindmark was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 72 minutes in the game, Albert Sikström fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mikael Lindmark having to interfere. After 74 played minutes, Arkelstorps IF's Algot Fernkvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruud van Nistelrooij came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arkelstorps IF reached it. Ruud van Nistelrooij showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Lindqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Göran Löfdahl got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Göran Löfdahl in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikael Lindmark prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Albert Sikström came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Hedesunda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Sikström couldn't finish the play. Göran Löfdahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Lindmark having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Hedesunda left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Arkelstorps IF.
