An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Mickelsson in the 5th minute of play forced Arkelstorps IF's goalkeeper Mikael Lindmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes Mårdaklev's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was André Axelsson who took care of the corner kick. In the last second Osvald Zander throw himself and got hold of the ball when Allan Lindqvist in the 18thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Folke Myr's late challenge caught a Arkelstorps IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Folke Myr helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mårdaklev's Folke Myr got a free kick in the 18th minute. Osvald Zander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Lindqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Peter Mickelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mårdaklev's goalkeeper Osvald Zander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Jim Martinsson came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Arkelstorps IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jim Martinsson couldn't finish the play. After 33 played minutes Mårdaklev got a freekick which was hit by Olov Sundström. Osvald Zander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Lindqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 45 played minutes Mårdaklev got a freekick which was hit by Bengt Soned. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Allan Lindqvist made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Mårdaklev's Peter Mickelsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikael Lindmark narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mikael Lindmark made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Arvin Björling sent off a good shot on target. Mårdaklev's Folke Myr got his second yellow card of the match in the 65th minute. The referee ordered Folke Myr off the ground. In the 67th match minute, Mårdaklev was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Myr to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Allan Lindqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Arkelstorps IF's zone, Arvin Björling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikael Lindmark came out of the goal and Arvin Björling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrik Gustafsson's late challenge caught a Mårdaklev's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrik Gustafsson helped the player get up and apologised. Peter Mickelsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Mikael Lindmark made a huge save. Jim Martinsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Henrik Gustafsson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. Henrik Gustafsson hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Henrik Wennersten from long distance, 85 minutes into the match, got Mikael Lindmark's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Bengt Soned sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrik Wennersten, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mårdaklev players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Arkelstorps IF.
