After a rather tough play, Maleekboom's Wiktor Olofsson got a free kick in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Sune Andberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gusum's supporters rose to their feet, but Sune Andberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torgny Dahlquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maleekboom's Torgny Dahlquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Stenquist in the 10th minute of play. Rudolf Bergström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Albom, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Gusum's goalkeeper Rudolf Bergström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Håkan Brandin. Håkan Brandin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Rudolf Bergström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Maleekboom booed when Gusum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Häger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Håkan Brandin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Bergström having to interfere. Rudolf Bergström stood somewhat misplaced when Håkan Brandin came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 19 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Albom in the 22nd minute of play forced Gusum's goalkeeper Rudolf Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Gusum's goal looked a bit too open when Harald Albom came free, but Rudolf Bergström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harald Albom showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 43 minutes, Casper Malmgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maleekboom and the Gusum players grew even worse after the yellow card. Casper Malmgren hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otto Stenquist in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torgny Dahlquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Otto Stenquist made the kick off in the second half. Casper Malmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Otto Stenquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gusum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otto Stenquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sune Andberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Håkan Brandin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rudolf Bergström was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Otto Stenquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Torgny Dahlquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gusum's Sune Andberg got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gusum's Rudolf Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Brandin in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Albom in the 77th minute of play forced Gusum's goalkeeper Rudolf Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torgny Dahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Stenquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After some careless play in the Maleekboom defense, Otto Stenquist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torgny Dahlquist. The Maleekboom fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torgny Dahlquist should have stopped the shot. Håkan Brandin struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Rudolf Bergström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maleekboom. In the 94th minute Håkan Brandin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Bergström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maleekboom's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
