Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Karlsson in the 6th minute of play forced Maleekboom's goalkeeper Torgny Dahlquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Maleekboom's Torgny Dahlquist got control of the ball when Kristian Karlsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute Harald Albom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Wennerlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herman Bruhn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Torgny Dahlquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Håkan Brandin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Christer Wennerlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Herman Bruhn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ramsele's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maleekboom the free kick. In the 16th minute, Herman Bruhn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the game, Ramsele's Jarl Billing nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torgny Dahlquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 27 played minutes Ramsele got a freekick which was hit by Manfred Björkdahl. If Harald Albom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Harald Albom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maleekboom's supporters rose to their feet, but Harald Albom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christer Wennerlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarl Billing got free with Torgny Dahlquist in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christer Wennerlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harald Albom in the 43rd minute of play. After 45 minutes, Manfred Björkdahl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ramsele and the Maleekboom players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manfred Björkdahl hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harald Albom made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Harald Albom got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 58 minutes into the match, Ramsele's goalkeeper Christer Wennerlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Håkan Brandin. Harald Albom might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christer Wennerlund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harald Albom ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 62nd minute, Håkan Brandin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maleekboom fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ramsele's goalkeeper Christer Wennerlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Håkan Brandin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Wennerlund having to interfere. Christer Wennerlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Brandin, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. A collision led to Ramsele getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Manfred Björkdahl hit a great ball. Manfred Björkdahl was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Manfred Björkdahl kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Håkan Brandin got free with Christer Wennerlund in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Kjell Tidén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gert Knutsson, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarl Billing in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torgny Dahlquist saved Maleekboom from getting behind. In the 91st minute, Herman Bruhn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jarl Billing struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Torgny Dahlquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ramsele. If Jimmy Ahlbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Jarl Billing put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Torgny Dahlquist. Ramsele were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Maleekboom for a fine match.
