The referee ignored Tygelsjö BK's protests and gave Jonatan Tönnberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Maleekboom booed when Tygelsjö BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Tönnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th match minute, Maleekboom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casper Malmgren to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rdth minute of the game Esbjörn Thidén who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maleekboom's Torgny Dahlquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edward Lindström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Torgny Dahlquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esbjörn Thidén hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Håkan Brandin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Gustav Stor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Wiktor Olofsson hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute of the match Tygelsjö BK got a corner. Maleekboom's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mårten Skark ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Maleekboom's goalie and right to Jonatan Tönnberg. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Maleekboom's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Evert Hellqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonatan Tönnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torgny Dahlquist having to interfere. Torgny Dahlquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Hellqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Mårten Skark made the kick off in the second half. Maleekboom's Torgny Dahlquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Maleekboom from getting a goal against them. Torgny Dahlquist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mårten Skark showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Jonatan Tönnberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tygelsjö BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Tönnberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torgny Dahlquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Torgny Dahlquist managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Tygelsjö BK's Jonatan Tönnberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Mats Asplund came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Tygelsjö BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mats Asplund couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Lindström in the 74th minute of play forced Maleekboom's goalkeeper Torgny Dahlquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Lindström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torgny Dahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Lindström in the 78th minute of play. Jonatan Tönnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torgny Dahlquist having to interfere. Håkan Brandin might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustav Stor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Håkan Brandin ran back to his position shaking his head. Maleekboom's Torgny Dahlquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mårten Skark in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maleekboom's goalkeeper Torgny Dahlquist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mats Asplund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Maleekboom's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edward Lindström fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. During the 95th minute of the match Casper Malmgren completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Casper Malmgren a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Maleekboom's Casper Malmgren got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maleekboom's goalkeeper Torgny Dahlquist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
