Ivar Kullander hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 25 minutes, Sven-Ove Nordström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ShottaZ and the Fjärås players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute Per-Erik Hellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rasmus Håkansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Sven-Ove Nordström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rasmus Håkansson came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Fjärås's Per-Erik Hellbom. But to his dismay, Per-Erik Hellbom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aron Beck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Aron Beck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ShottaZ and the Fjärås players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ShottaZ's Aron Beck got a free kick in the 56th minute. After some careless play in the Fjärås defense, Aron Beck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sixten Östensson. The Fjärås fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sixten Östensson should have stopped the shot. When Magnus Pilgren fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fjärås's protests and gave Magnus Pilgren a yellow card for diving instead. Magnus Pilgren hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Per-Erik Hellbom came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Fjärås fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Erik Hellbom couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, ShottaZ's Rasmus Håkansson got control of the ball when Egil Fernkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Lennart Berggren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After having played for 99 minutes, Sven-Ove Nordström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
