In the 3rd minute of the game Robin Petersson made a throw-in which Håkan Lund played forward. 6 minutes into the match, Graninge IK's goal looked a bit too open when Algot Öfverman came free, but Elliot Valrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Morgan Lundgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borensberg FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Morgan Lundgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elliot Valrot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Borensberg FF's Helge Kjellqvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elliot Valrot. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. Algot Öfverman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Elliot Valrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Borensberg FF booed when Graninge IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Kiempe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Graninge IK's goalkeeper Elliot Valrot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Håkan Kruse. After some careless play in the Graninge IK defense, Håkan Kruse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elliot Valrot. The Graninge IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elliot Valrot should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Stefan Holmberg in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Graninge IK's Håkan Lund. 29 minutes into the match, Ulf Sandwall notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Graninge IK's Elliot Valrot. Elliot Valrot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Borensberg FF's Håkan Kruse got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Graninge IK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Kristoffer Askelöf hit a great ball. Graninge IK's Elliot Valrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Sandwall in the 40th minute of play. Elliot Valrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morgan Lundgren in the 43rd minute of the match. Elliot Valrot was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Algot Öfverman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Algot Öfverman really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Algot Öfverman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edwin Mattsson during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Borensberg FF booed when Graninge IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Mattsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristoffer Askelöf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gösta Skålberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Graninge IK's Håkan Lund got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Robin Petersson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Borensberg FF's Morgan Lundgren quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Edwin Mattsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Gösta Skålberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Borensberg FF's goalkeeper Gösta Skålberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Håkan Lund. Håkan Lund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Borensberg FF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Graninge IK for a fine match.
