In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind BK Mean Machine's goalkeeper Rikard Hagström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Åke Hasselqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anders Torsberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Vidar Ekeroth's late challenge caught a Jespers IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vidar Ekeroth helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Vidar Ekeroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jespers IF's Marcus Lagerberg got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joel Lundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Lagerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rikard Hagström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rikard Hagström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Lagerberg in the 24th minute of the match. With a little luck, Jespers IF's Anders Torsberg got control of the ball when Åke Hasselqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, BK Mean Machine's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Lundberg came free, but Rikard Hagström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rikard Hagström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Lundberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in BK Mean Machine's zone, Joel Lundberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rikard Hagström came out of the goal and Joel Lundberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Åke Hasselqvist took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anders Torsberg. Anders Torsberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Anders Torsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Hasselqvist in the 71st minute of the match. After some careless play in the BK Mean Machine defense, Marcus Lagerberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rikard Hagström. The BK Mean Machine fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rikard Hagström should have stopped the shot. After 76 played minutes BK Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Vidar Ekeroth. Joel Lundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Arne Klint in the 85th minute of play forced Jespers IF's goalkeeper Anders Torsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
