Björn Billing was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Marko Ahlroht managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Ankeborg's supporters rose to their feet, but Marko Ahlroht was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Björn Billing breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Björn Billing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kennet Västerstrand in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Arne Asserlindh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joacim Anundsson to make the kick off. With a little luck, Falköping BF's Björn Billing got control of the ball when Malcolm Strömqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Björn Billing successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Falköping BF's Rune Hermansson got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 93rd minute, FC Ankeborg's Joacim Anundsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Björn Billing. Björn Billing yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. Björn Billing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joacim Anundsson in the 96th minute of the match.
