Spectators: 7280 (Terracing: 5495, Seating: 1685, VIP seats: 100) Joel Lundberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Anders Torsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Harman in the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the game, Nils-Emil Blanck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ScanTeam FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jespers IF the free kick. If George Harman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frans Wiberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Harman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Anders Torsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Lundberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute Marcus Lagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Ingemarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anders Torsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Harman in the 36th minute of play. Frans Wiberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Torsberg having to interfere. After the first half Jespers IF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when George Harman made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Ingemar Olsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jespers IF and the ScanTeam FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Jespers IF getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ingemar Olsson hit a great ball. If Marcus Lagerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Olof Blom kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. George Harman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Anders Torsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jespers IF's Anders Torsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Wiberg in the 68th minute of play. Marcus Lagerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to ScanTeam FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Jan-Olof Blom hit a great ball. Joel Lundberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sonny Ingemarsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Lundberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Anders Torsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Harman, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ScanTeam FC's zone, Joel Lundberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sonny Ingemarsson came out of the goal and Joel Lundberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Jespers IF's Göran Lundström got a free kick in the 87th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Jespers IF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
