Spectators: 7234 (Terracing: 5427, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Älghult FK's Örjan Hellström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Örjan Hellström in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Per Bank saved Broaryd IFK from getting behind. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Älghult FK's goalkeeper Jon Vik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Örjan Hellström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Per Bank tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Broaryd IFK's Brian Nilsson got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Mikael Nordlund shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Per Bank showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 0-2 became the score in the 18th minute when Örjan Hellström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 21 minutes, Karl-Magnus Hybbert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Broaryd IFK and the Älghult FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Karl-Magnus Hybbert kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Jon Vik came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Broaryd IFK's Albin Petersson. But to his dismay, Albin Petersson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ingvar Björkman's late challenge caught a Broaryd IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingvar Björkman helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Älghult FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! Albin Petersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Vik having to interfere. Per Bank showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Örjan Hellström, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Olof Willig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jon Vik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Willig, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Olof Willig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Broaryd IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Olof Willig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon Vik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute Örjan Hellström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Bank saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes Älghult FK got a freekick which was hit by Robert Bennet. Älghult FK's Jon Vik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Petersson in the 93rd minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
