A collision led to Holmsjö FK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Sven-Olof Sjöström hit a great ball. Rikard Smedfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Mark Linberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Oxie BK's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Asklund came free, but Rasmus Stenström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rasmus Stenström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Asklund in the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Tansu Malkoçoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holmsjö FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tansu Malkoçoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute Robert Asklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rasmus Stenström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mark Linberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rikard Smedfeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robert Asklund made a kick off. During the 51st minute of the match Oskar Vester completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Oskar Vester a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 72nd minute, Tansu Malkoçoğlu made a precise shot to the right of Rasmus Stenström. Oxie BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Oxie BK's zone, Tansu Malkoçoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rasmus Stenström came out of the goal and Tansu Malkoçoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Morgan Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Robert Asklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89thth minute of the game Robert Asklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oxie BK's Rasmus Stenström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Holmsjö FK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
