Spectators: 7266 (Terracing: 5451, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Holger Skog kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Peter Rolfsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Sven-Åke Ekström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 7th minute, Anton Sandberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sven-Åke Ekström. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 20th minute, Charlie Holmberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ilves fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Ilves's Sven-Åke Ekström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Sandberg in the 24th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ilves defense, Vilhelm Hernström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Åke Ekström. The Ilves fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Åke Ekström should have stopped the shot. Sven-Åke Ekström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Sandberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Björna's zone, Egon Pihlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Galle came out of the goal and Egon Pihlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Björna's Roger Galle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Holmberg in the 37th minute of play. Valdemar Löfgren kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Ilves's Billy Lindmark couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Björna. A collision led to Ilves getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Edgar Landin hit a great ball. Peter Rolfsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Sven-Åke Ekström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anton Sandberg to make the kick off. Charlie Holmberg struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Roger Galle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ilves. Holger Skog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Galle having to interfere. When Vilhelm Hernström fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Björna's protests and gave Vilhelm Hernström a yellow card for diving instead. Vilhelm Hernström kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Björna's zone, Holger Skog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Galle came out of the goal and Holger Skog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aleksander Hedvall hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When Björna's Anton Sandberg in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ilves's goalie prevented a goal. Holger Skog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Roger Galle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Björna's goal looked a bit too open when Holger Skog came free, but Roger Galle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Billy Lindmark was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ilves's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Björna the free kick. After 83 played minutes Ilves got a freekick which was hit by Billy Lindmark. 84 minutes into the match, Björna's Bengt-Arne Bergstedt broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Björna's Peter Rolfsson in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ilves's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 90 minutes, Peter Rolfsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Björna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Rolfsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Ilves's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Sandberg came free, but Sven-Åke Ekström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Rolfsson in the 93rd minute of play forced Ilves's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Peter Rolfsson came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Björna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Rolfsson couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Ilves's Örjan Dalberg got a free kick in the 95th minute. Björna's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
