August Asklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Lustig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars Lustig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Asklund having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Forssberg during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sebastian Forssberg kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Grönahög FF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Christian Törnblom 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After having played for 32 minutes, Christian Törnblom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Östersunds Marsvin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Törnblom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Östersunds Marsvin's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaf Widberg came free, but August Asklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 minutes of play, Grönahög FF's Gustaf Widberg made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. August Asklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gustaf Widberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. August Asklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Christian Törnblom made the kick off in the second half. Gustaf Widberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 58 minutes of play, Grönahög FF's Lars Lustig made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. August Asklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Lennart Lindström fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Östersunds Marsvin's protests and gave Lennart Lindström a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Östersunds Marsvin getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Lennart Lindström hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Gustaf Widberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grönahög FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaf Widberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. August Asklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustaf Widberg struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. August Asklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grönahög FF. Inge Emander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Törnblom, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The audience was convinced that Gustaf Widberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but August Asklund was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Gustaf Widberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Lars Lustig reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of August Asklund. The goal made the score 1-3. Lars Lustig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but August Asklund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. A hard shot 90 in the game by Lars Lustig from a close distance when the talented August Asklund managed to make a qualified save. Östersunds Marsvin's players were relieved. Gustaf Widberg succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4. When Lars Lustig came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Grönahög FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Lustig couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Grönahög FF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Östersunds Marsvin throughout the match.
