Spectators: 7298 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) 3 minutes into the match, Bror Berggren notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vattubrinken's Åke Berggren. Åke Berggren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Åke Berggren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexander Esbjörnsson's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Vattubrinken's Mattias Törnkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Alexander Esbjörnsson sped through Vattubrinken's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Åke Berggren. Åke Berggren came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Tranemo's Alexander Esbjörnsson. But to his dismay, Alexander Esbjörnsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Torsten Lindgren made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Aron Lilja sent off a good shot on target. Tranemo's Torsten Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Törnkvist in the 21st minute of play. Claes Delin hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Alexander Esbjörnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the game, Tranemo's Alexander Esbjörnsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Åke Berggren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 38th minute Bror Berggren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Berggren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Esbjörnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Berggren having to interfere. Åke Berggren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Esbjörnsson in the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Aron Lilja made a precise shot to the right of Torsten Lindgren. Tranemo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mattias Törnkvist was the one to do the kick off. After 57 minutes, Bror Berggren made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. Vattubrinken's Åke Berggren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Tranemo's Bror Berggren in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vattubrinken's goalie prevented a goal. In the 68thth minute of the game Bror Berggren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vattubrinken's Åke Berggren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Alexander Esbjörnsson lined in a short shot 2-6 behind a frustrated Åke Berggren. After having played for 82 minutes, Aron Lilja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vattubrinken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aron Lilja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aron Lilja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Torsten Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bror Berggren in the 88th minute of play forced Vattubrinken's goalkeeper Åke Berggren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alexander Esbjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Vattubrinken's goal looked a bit too open when Bror Berggren came free, but Åke Berggren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Åke Berggren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Berggren in the 97th minute of play. The Tranemo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
