Vartofta IK's Petter Tolsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claes Jernberg in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Vartofta IK booed when Ammarnäs RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvid Byström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johannes Strömqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claes Jernberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Simon Stenquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Simon Stenquist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petter Tolsson. Vartofta IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Stenquist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Petter Tolsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Jernberg in the 59th minute of play. Petter Tolsson was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Claes Jernberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Claes Jernberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2.
