Richard Wallmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Holm having to interfere. Richard Wallmark's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rune Holm firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Davve United's Christian Malm slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rune Holm. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. Tage Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Lennart Dahlberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bror Lindgren. Davve United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennart Dahlberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christopher Hake during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes Rydöbruk FK got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Hake. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Christian Malm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Davve United's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Malm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Holm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 48th minute Lennart Dahlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bror Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Malm was the one to do the kick off. Bror Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Dahlberg in the 84th minute of play. Rune Holm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Malm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tage Axelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Bror Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Davve United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rydöbruk FK for a fine match.
