Spectators: 7290 (Terracing: 5470, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Marcus Abrahamsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Marcus Abrahamsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Alf Spetz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Karl-Michael Kihlman struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. David Dalkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Björkliden. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Michael Kihlman in the 10th minute of play forced Djursholm's goalkeeper David Dalkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Djursholm:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Björkliden:s goal. If Ludvig Nordstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Abrahamsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute Torgny Billström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Dalkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Dalkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludvig Nordstedt in the 28th minute of the match. Herman Gråberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Herman Gråberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Björkliden's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Abrahamsson came free, but Alf Spetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Björkliden were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ludvig Nordstedt to strike the kick off in the second half. Herman Gråberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Spetz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Björkliden's Ove Gunnarsson got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 60th minute, Karl-Michael Kihlman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Björkliden fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Alf Spetz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Abrahamsson's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. David Dalkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludvig Nordstedt in the 67th minute of play. Marcus Abrahamsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Alf Spetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Herman Gråberg came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Djursholm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herman Gråberg couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Björkliden's Torgny Billström got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute of the match Tony Lundqvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alf Spetz skillfully saved the ball. In the 80th minute Gunnar Helander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Spetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Abrahamsson in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alf Spetz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Herman Gråberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th match minute, Björkliden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torgny Billström to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Herman Gråberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alf Spetz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Karl-Michael Kihlman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. David Dalkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Björkliden supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Björkliden would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
