Kungsgården FK's Ingvar Lind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Örjan Billström in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Sjöström in the 14th minute of play forced Hammarby IF's goalkeeper Aron Melin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aron Melin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tim Sjöström's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Aron Melin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Karl-Michael Löfgren. Kungsgården FK's Ingvar Lind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Åhlberg in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kungsgården FK's Christer Koch got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Tim Sjöström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aron Melin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Sjöström in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valter Åhlberg was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Christer Koch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobias Finsberg hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Gösta Bryngelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kungsgården FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gösta Bryngelsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aron Melin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th match minute, Kungsgården FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Hellsing to maneuver through the defense.
