After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Håkan Jakobsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tjällmo's supporters rose to their feet, but Håkan Jakobsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingvar Lind breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 5 played minutes Kungsgården FK got a freekick which was hit by Christer Koch. After some careless play in the Kungsgården FK defense, Emil Kruuse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ingvar Lind. The Kungsgården FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ingvar Lind should have stopped the shot. If Gösta Bryngelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Håkan Jakobsson scored 2-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ingvar Lind, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Håkan Jakobsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Christer Koch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tim Sjöström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. Arne Ålberg came out of the goal and Rickard Bratt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Ingvar Lind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Jakobsson in the 52nd minute of play. Håkan Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Lind having to interfere. If Emil Kruuse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Håkan Jakobsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ingvar Lind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Tjällmo booed when Kungsgården FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Ekström didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tjällmo's Emil Kruuse in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kungsgården FK's goalie prevented a goal. Tim Sjöström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arne Ålberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim Sjöström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Tim Sjöström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Ålberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Tim Sjöström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arne Ålberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Tjällmo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
