The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Tingstäde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Romelanda FF the free kick. Sten Andreasson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Algot Skröder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sten Andreasson having to make a save. Sven-Edvin Sundin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ivar Asserlindh firmly grabbed it by the left post. Algot Skröder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Andreasson having to interfere. If Jan-Olof Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute.
