Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Timmy Wallin got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Södra Sandby IK's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy Wallin came free, but Robert Nyberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Södra Sandby IK's Jörgen Boklund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Ove Levander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Nils-Åke Vallander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Södra Sandby IK's Robert Nyberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Kjellkvist in the 17th minute of play. Jörgen Boklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Sven-Ove Levander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Per Kjellkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aspabruk IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Nils-Åke Vallander sped through Aspabruk IK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sven-Ove Levander. 34 minutes into the match, Södra Sandby IK's goal looked a bit too open when Per Kjellkvist came free, but Robert Nyberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Aspabruk IK were awarded a corner. Hjalmar Olsson went to the cornerflag to take it. Hjalmar Olsson made a great header on Aspabruk IK's corner, it was just that Södra Sandby IK's Robert Nyberg managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 45thth minute of the game Nils-Åke Vallander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aspabruk IK's Sven-Ove Levander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Nils-Åke Vallander made the kick off in the second half. Johan Alebom struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Sven-Ove Levander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Södra Sandby IK. If Jörgen Boklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 66 minutes into the match, Jörgen Boklund notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Aspabruk IK's Sven-Ove Levander. Sven-Ove Levander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Södra Sandby IK's Jörgen Boklund got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Jörgen Boklund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Ove Levander was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Timmy Wallin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Robert Nyberg. That made the score 5-2 in the 78 minute of play. Sven-Ove Levander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jörgen Boklund went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Aspabruk IK defense, Jörgen Boklund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Ove Levander. The Aspabruk IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Ove Levander should have stopped the shot. When Södra Sandby IK's Nils-Åke Vallander in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aspabruk IK's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Aspabruk IK's zone, Jörgen Boklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Ove Levander came out of the goal and Jörgen Boklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
