The referee showed Anton Hamnberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Garpenberg IF getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Anton Hamnberg hit a great ball. Erik Ståhlberg charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Garpenberg IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Lind in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Jonsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mighty Midgets United's Rafael Gaál played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Hamnberg in the 56th minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match Andy Larsfält shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Gaál showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ture Holmgren in the 67th minute of play forced Mighty Midgets United's goalkeeper Rafael Gaál to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Gaál showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joakim Johnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Jonas Lind managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mighty Midgets United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Lind was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Mighty Midgets United's goal looked a bit too open when Joakim Johnsson came free, but Rafael Gaál reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mighty Midgets United's Jonas Lind managed to work through Garpenberg IF's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jonas Lind dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in.
