Visingsö's Alexander Sigman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tord Holmberg in the 10th minute of play. Stjärnsund RK's Joar Juhlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casper Fernkvist in the 12th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Rolf Löfdahl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Visingsö's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolf Löfdahl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joar Juhlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tord Holmberg in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Sigman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingmar Nyberg got free with Alexander Sigman in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Visingsö's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erling Ström was slow to take the kick. During this time Stjärnsund RK's players had a chance to rest. Alexander Sigman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tord Holmberg in the 25th minute of play. Alexander Sigman made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Ingmar Nyberg sent off a good shot on target. If Ingmar Nyberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Tord Holmberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Sigman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Visingsö's zone, Tord Holmberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Sigman came out of the goal and Tord Holmberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Visingsö's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Holmberg came free, but Alexander Sigman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Mattias Karlsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stjärnsund RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Visingsö the free kick. The supporters of Visingsö booed when Stjärnsund RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Karlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingmar Nyberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tord Holmberg was the one to do the kick off. Tord Holmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Alexander Sigman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingmar Nyberg struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Alexander Sigman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stjärnsund RK. Tord Holmberg struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Alexander Sigman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stjärnsund RK. If Ingmar Nyberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ingmar Nyberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th match minute, Visingsö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Andersson to maneuver through the defense. Alexander Sigman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ingmar Nyberg went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Tord Holmberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexander Sigman was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Tord Holmberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexander Sigman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Lucas Lilja kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the game, Per Soned was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Visingsö's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stjärnsund RK the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Visingsö fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! Erling Ström shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Stjärnsund RK were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
