In the 9th minute Erik Strandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Arne Alberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Erik Strandberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Utansjö RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Strandberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stig-Arne Alberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute Marcus Engström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Christoffer Ahlqvist came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Utansjö RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christoffer Ahlqvist couldn't finish the play. Erik Strandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig-Arne Alberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoffer Ahlqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig-Arne Alberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Strandberg in the 42nd minute of play. Erik Strandberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Arne Alberg having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Johannes Hermansson made a precise shot to the right of Hannes Jakobsson. Utansjö RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd match minute, Mangskog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Stenberg to maneuver through the defense. Marcus Engström struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Hannes Jakobsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mangskog. Stig-Arne Alberg made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Christoffer Ahlqvist sent off a good shot on target. Hannes Jakobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Hermansson in the 67th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Mangskog's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Strandberg came free, but Stig-Arne Alberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hannes Jakobsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Hermansson in the 81st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Utansjö RK defense, Johannes Hermansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hannes Jakobsson. The Utansjö RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hannes Jakobsson should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Mangskog's Stig-Arne Alberg got control of the ball when Isaac Hedling tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 96 minutes, Erik Strandberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Utansjö RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Strandberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johannes Hermansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Hannes Jakobsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Mangskog players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
