Hannes Jakobsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute Eskil Vallgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Utansjö RK's Hannes Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eskil Vallgren in the 8th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Rasmus Fanström got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hannes Jakobsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 14th minute Eskil Vallgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Stig-Arne Andersson fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grytgöl's protests and gave Stig-Arne Andersson a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Grytgöl:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Utansjö RK:s goal. The referee gave Utansjö RK a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Björn Lundin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Grytgöl's Robin Abrahamsson. 2-0. In the 31st minute Karl-Axel Lindgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 37 minutes, Karl-Axel Lindgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grytgöl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Axel Lindgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christoffer Ahlqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robin Abrahamsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute, Eskil Vallgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hannes Jakobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Axel Lindgren in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eskil Vallgren to make the kick off. Eskil Vallgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannes Jakobsson having to interfere. Karl-Axel Lindgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Robert Falck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Utansjö RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grytgöl the free kick. Grytgöl's Rasmus Fanström shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hannes Jakobsson but with some difficulty. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Eskil Vallgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grytgöl's supporters rose to their feet, but Eskil Vallgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hannes Jakobsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robert Falck hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Karl-Axel Lindgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grytgöl's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Axel Lindgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hannes Jakobsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 87 minutes, Edvin Vibjörnsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Utansjö RK and the Grytgöl players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edvin Vibjörnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Rasmus Fanström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Utansjö RK's Hannes Jakobsson didn't even have to move. Many of Grytgöl's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Grytgöl may have spent more time on the ball, but Utansjö RK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
