The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Brian Frisk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. With a left leg Stig-Arne Alberg saved Mangskog from getting behind. 5 minutes into the game, Jonathan Stenberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mangskog's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lammhult FK the free kick. In the 5th match minute, Mangskog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Stenberg to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 22 in the game by Johannes Hermansson from a close distance when the talented Adrian Ugla managed to make a qualified save. Lammhult FK's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Mangskog's zone, Brian Frisk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig-Arne Alberg came out of the goal and Brian Frisk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 25 minutes, Jörgen Askstedt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lammhult FK and the Mangskog players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute, Jörgen Askstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johannes Hermansson got free with Adrian Ugla in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adrian Ugla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johannes Hermansson in the 28th minute. Johannes Hermansson came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adrian Ugla could save by the left post. Marcus Engström struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Adrian Ugla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mangskog. Brian Frisk kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Marcus Engström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Ugla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Marcus Engström took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Adrian Ugla to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus Engström made a kick off. Marcus Engström scored 2-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrian Ugla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Johannes Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute, Johannes Hermansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Lammhult FK's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Engström came free, but Adrian Ugla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Johannes Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Freddie Klemensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcus Engström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Adrian Ugla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Johannes Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. When Marcus Engström came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Mangskog fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Engström couldn't finish the play. Lammhult FK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
