The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Forssberg in the 3rd minute of play forced Curva B's goalkeeper Dag Helander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Stoby BF's Gilbert Forssberg in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curva B's goalie prevented a goal. When Holger Rydberg came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Stoby BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Holger Rydberg couldn't finish the play. Stefan Isaksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Mickelsson in the 11th minute of the match. Stefan Isaksson made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Sören Nordmark sent off a good shot on target. Lars-Erik Hedlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Stefan Isaksson made a huge save. Stefan Isaksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars-Erik Hedlund in the 17th minute. Aleksander Lundqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Dag Helander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charlie Johansson's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Charlie Johansson made the kick off in the second half. From close distance Charlie Johansson pressed in the 0-3 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 55 minutes into the game. 60 minutes into the match, Stoby BF's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Mickelsson came free, but Stefan Isaksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Åke Nordal hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Curva B's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Gilbert Forssberg scored to the left of an out of position Dag Helander, making the score, 0-4. Emanuel Mickelsson struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Stefan Isaksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curva B. Ralf Springfält charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ralf Springfält the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ralf Springfält hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. When Östen Lundhberg fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curva B's protests and gave Östen Lundhberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Curva B got a freekick which was hit by Östen Lundhberg. Stefan Isaksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Mickelsson in the 72nd minute of the match. Emanuel Mickelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Andersson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 76 minutes into the match. Olof Berggren shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 85 minutes into the match, Curva B's goalkeeper Dag Helander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charlie Johansson. In the 87th minute Emanuel Mickelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Isaksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Stoby BF's Örjan Olsson got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Stefan Isaksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Mickelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Curva B's zone, Charlie Johansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dag Helander came out of the goal and Charlie Johansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Stoby BF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
