Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sverker Högström started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gunnar Hake showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Algot Haglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Algot Haglund in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunnar Hake saved Nye from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Tom Böcklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nye's Sverker Högström in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sandsjöfors's goalie prevented a goal. In the 19th minute Sverker Högström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Holmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Algot Haglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sverker Högström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Lennart Holmberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anton Wallander struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Lennart Holmberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nye. Mattias Almqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lennart Holmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sverker Högström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Kristoffer Holmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A nice corner shot did that Pål Wennerqvist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lennart Holmberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 45th minute of the match, Sverker Högström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lennart Holmberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kenny Tinglöv to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Anton Wallander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 55 played minutes Nye got a freekick which was hit by Sten Björnberg. 58 minutes into the game, Nye's Mattias Almqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lennart Holmberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Anton Wallander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Göran Pettersson's late challenge caught a Sandsjöfors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Göran Pettersson helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Nye:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sandsjöfors:s goal. In the 76th match minute, Sandsjöfors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristoffer Holmgren to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Sandsjöfors defense, Anton Wallander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lennart Holmberg. The Sandsjöfors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lennart Holmberg should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Anton Wallander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nye's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Wallander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lennart Holmberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kristoffer Holmgren during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sandsjöfors players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nye.
