After 9 minutes of play, Älgarnas BK's Melker Sandwall made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Georg Mårtensson was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Per Wiklund put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Georg Mårtensson. The supporters of Älgarnas BK booed when Hunnebostrand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Andersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hunnebostrand's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Simon Lind was slow to take the kick. During this time Älgarnas BK's players had a chance to rest. Melker Sandwall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melker Sandwall in the 27th minute of play forced Hunnebostrand's goalkeeper Georg Mårtensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Björn Danielsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hunnebostrand's Georg Mårtensson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Melker Sandwall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Georg Mårtensson was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. If Hans Odén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per Wiklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Mårtensson having to interfere. After the first half Älgarnas BK were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hans Odén to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Älgarnas BK's Simon Lind sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Georg Mårtensson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Melker Sandwall dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Georg Mårtensson, 0-5. In the 58th minute Björn Danielsson suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Kenny Frisk charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Oscar Bolander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hunnebostrand. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per Wiklund got free with Georg Mårtensson in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Vinström hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. A hard shot 87 in the game by Per Wiklund from a close distance when the talented Georg Mårtensson managed to make a qualified save. Hunnebostrand's players were relieved. Alvin Falkrans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
