Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) Christer Ek made the kick off and thus started the match. 8 minutes into the match, Rosenfors IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Lönn came free, but Mattias Smedfeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pär Lundström during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Skebobruk's Rune Lönn got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rosenfors IFK's goalkeeper Mattias Smedfeldt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rune Lönn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Rosenfors IFK booed when Skebobruk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zebastian Ivarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rosenfors IFK's zone, Christer Ek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Smedfeldt came out of the goal and Christer Ek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattias Smedfeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Lönn in the 30th minute of the match. During the 31st minute of the match Pär Lundström completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pär Lundström a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 32nd match minute, Rosenfors IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pär Lundström to maneuver through the defense. Mikael Åström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Christoffersson having to interfere. Mikael Åström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Rosenfors IFK's Jonas Pålsson got a free kick in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Rosenfors IFK's Per-Arne Salqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mikael Åström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. George Christoffersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christer Ek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Mattias Smedfeldt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mattias Smedfeldt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Skebobruk's Mattias Smedfeldt threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christer Ek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. George Christoffersson came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rosenfors IFK's Mikael Åström. But to his dismay, Mikael Åström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Rune Lönn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christer Ek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Smedfeldt having to interfere. When Rune Lönn came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Skebobruk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rune Lönn couldn't finish the play. If Rune Lönn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christer Ek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Mattias Smedfeldt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rosenfors IFK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Skebobruk for a fine match.
