Landvetter's Vidar Vedholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egon Pettersson in the 68th minute of play. The audience held their breath when Fabian Sandström in the 74th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Sören Utter's left hand side. Sören Utter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Erik Vallander, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Fabian Sandström might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sören Utter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabian Sandström ran back to his position shaking his head. If Leo Dusett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sören Utter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Erik Vallander, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. If Robert Axelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Häger eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
