The shot was a little too simple and Ove Valler could save by the left post. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vinča FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hannes Hedvall was slow to take the kick. During this time Gårdsgänget's players had a chance to rest. In the 64th minute, Marcus Åkerström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 68 played minutes Vinča FC got a freekick which was hit by Sonny Kjellqvist. The long shot by Adrian Danielsson in the 71st minute really tested Ove Valler's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gårdsgänget's goalkeeper Arne Ekeroth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vinča FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
