With his leg Ture Ersman managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Östmark's Börje Eriksson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Sten Mickelsson fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IMBA FC's protests and gave Sten Mickelsson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Östmark booed when IMBA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Mickelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Arne Melander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Björklund charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
