In the 6th minute Ludwig Odeen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertil Stenström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bertil Stenström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludwig Odeen, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Claes Hermansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Stenström having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Erik Vennerdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claes Hermansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Bertil Stenström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claes Hermansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Stenström having to interfere. Claes Hermansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fanatics Västerås SK's Ludwig Odeen managed to work through BK Hisingen's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ludwig Odeen dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Benjamin Ahlkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Wiklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Odeen in the 32nd minute of play forced BK Hisingen's goalkeeper Bertil Stenström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Jörn Arenius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BK Hisingen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fanatics Västerås SK the free kick. After a rather tough play, BK Hisingen's Jörn Arenius got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute of the match, Claes Hermansson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bertil Stenström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ludwig Odeen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bertil Stenström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claes Hermansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Stenström having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Fanatics Västerås SK's Ludwig Odeen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bertil Stenström. Bertil Stenström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Bertil Stenström was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Ludwig Odeen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ludwig Odeen really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to BK Hisingen getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ingvar Lövgren hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in BK Hisingen's zone, Ludwig Odeen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertil Stenström came out of the goal and Ludwig Odeen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64thth minute of the game Ludwig Odeen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BK Hisingen's Bertil Stenström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robin Linqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. BK Hisingen's Bertil Stenström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claes Hermansson in the 66th minute of play. Jim Andreasson kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Conny Martinsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benjamin Ahlkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conny Martinsson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74th minute, Robin Linqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertil Stenström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ludwig Odeen's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Ludwig Odeen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Claes Hermansson came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Fanatics Västerås SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claes Hermansson couldn't finish the play. Bertil Stenström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludwig Odeen in the 95th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fanatics Västerås SK fully deserved thier win.
