Spectators: 7240 (Terracing: 5432, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) Tjörnarp's Peder Löfgren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Sven Holmberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BK Rumpa's Kaj Gallberg got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute, one of Tjörnarp:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tjörnarp. In the 18th minute Peder Löfgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaj Sundén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Sven Holmberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BK Rumpa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tjörnarp the free kick. In the 20th minute, Sven Holmberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Peder Löfgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tjörnarp's supporters rose to their feet, but Peder Löfgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaj Sundén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, Peder Löfgren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kaj Sundén, 1-1. In the 30th minute, Dan Käcker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of BK Rumpa booed when Tjörnarp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Skytt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Tjörnarp's Peder Löfgren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Thor Blomkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Rumpa's supporters rose to their feet, but Thor Blomkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Brandt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the match, Dan Käcker notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Tjörnarp's Casper Brandt. Casper Brandt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 48th minute, Thor Blomkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casper Brandt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The Tjörnarp players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BK Rumpa were winning 2-3.

The wind increased when Thor Blomkvist made the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute Thor Blomkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Brandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaj Sundén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peder Löfgren in the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tjörnarp's zone, Thor Blomkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Brandt came out of the goal and Thor Blomkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 minutes of play, BK Rumpa's Alf Felin made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casper Brandt was left in no man's land by his defense there! BK Rumpa's Thor Blomkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tjörnarp's goalkeeper Casper Brandt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, BK Rumpa's goal looked a bit too open when Peder Löfgren came free, but Kaj Sundén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casper Brandt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thor Blomkvist in the 83rd minute of the match. If Sven Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tjörnarp's zone, Sven Holmberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Brandt came out of the goal and Sven Holmberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dan Käcker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thor Blomkvist struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Casper Brandt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Rumpa. When the match was over BK Rumpa could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tjörnarp throughout the match.
