Spectators: 7312 (Terracing: 5485, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Simon Sörman started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Saltsjöbaden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Lindgren to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Beppie Boys's Karl-Ove Lindberg got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, Stig-Ove Holmstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabian Bogren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Sörman in the 5th minute of play. With a little luck, Saltsjöbaden's Zebastian Utter got control of the ball when Sverker Hult tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Beppie Boys booed when Saltsjöbaden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Åke Ström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes Beppie Boys got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Ove Lindberg. 14 minutes into the match, Beppie Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Sörman came free, but Fabian Bogren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Bogren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Lindgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zebastian Utter made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Sverker Hult sent off a good shot on target. After 31 played minutes Beppie Boys got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Ove Lindberg. If Simon Sörman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils-Åke Ström's late challenge caught a Beppie Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nils-Åke Ström helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Beppie Boys booed when Saltsjöbaden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Åke Ström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sverker Hult sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Östen Palmquist hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Sörman in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Bogren saved Beppie Boys from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stig-Ove Holmstedt made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Morgan Lundqvist during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Beppie Boys fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Fabian Bogren, was totally fooled by Saltsjöbaden's Ronny Björklund, who 58 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Folke Sigman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd match minute, Beppie Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Östen Palmquist to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Folke Sigman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ian Hellqvist fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beppie Boys's protests and gave Ian Hellqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Folke Sigman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Fabian Bogren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Beppie Boys booed when Saltsjöbaden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Åke Ström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saltsjöbaden's Zebastian Utter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sverker Hult in the 71st minute of play. Zebastian Utter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sverker Hult's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. If Folke Sigman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gottfrid Håkansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Bogren having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sverker Hult in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zebastian Utter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 90 minutes into the match, Beppie Boys's goalkeeper Fabian Bogren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Folke Sigman. After having played for 91 minutes, Nils-Åke Ström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saltsjöbaden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils-Åke Ström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Ove Holmstedt in the 95th minute of play forced Saltsjöbaden's goalkeeper Zebastian Utter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
