Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Per Björnsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Per Björnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pontus Grubb having to interfere. Birger Kvick struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Jimmie Bäcklin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mango IK. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hubert Haeger got free with Pontus Grubb in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute Hubert Haeger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pontus Grubb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ola Kråk hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Melker Hafström shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Pontus Grubb made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hubert Haeger in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Arvid Kruuse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Hubert Haeger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Per-Arne Frisck's late challenge caught a Högsäter BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Per-Arne Frisck helped the player get up and apologised. After recieving a nice pass, Högsäter BF's Christer Beckman tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hubert Haeger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Högsäter BF's Hubert Haeger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pontus Grubb narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gottfrid Boberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Pontus Grubb managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Högsäter BF's Hubert Haeger fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

After 51 minutes, Bengt Vennersten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Högsäter BF and the Mango IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Högsäter BF's Bengt Vennersten got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Arvid Kruuse came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Mango IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arvid Kruuse couldn't finish the play. If Hubert Haeger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Haeger in the 66th minute of play forced Mango IK's goalkeeper Pontus Grubb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt Vennersten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arvid Kruuse hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Hubert Haeger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st match minute, Mango IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melker Hafström to maneuver through the defense. Hubert Haeger might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pontus Grubb. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hubert Haeger ran back to his position shaking his head. Valter Pålsson's late challenge caught a Högsäter BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valter Pålsson helped the player get up and apologised. Valter Pålsson kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Pontus Grubb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Haeger in the 77th minute of play. Hubert Haeger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pontus Grubb read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After 86 minutes, Patrik Hansson made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Högsäter BF's Jimmie Bäcklin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Högsäter BF's Hubert Haeger got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Högsäter BF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mango IK's performance. The match ended with a win for Mango IK.
